Who are Lions?
Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Though Lions are well known for successful initiatives in vision health, Lions service is as diverse as our members. Lions volunteer for many different kinds of projects including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, and aiding seniors and the disabled.
Shillington Lions:
Our members meet a variety of times over the year including two general meetings a month where we aim to learn something new about our community or a non-profit. We also hold monthly board meetings where our board members address business reports and voting decisions.
All of our members are encouraged to volunteer and participate in a capacity that is feasible for them. There is no attendance requirement, just a desire to serve.
We encourage all members to present new ideas and opportunities year-round so that our club can continue to grow and serve our community in new ways that meet the passions and skills of our club memebers.
